The 501 Complex project in Tirat Carmel includes a residential building that combines mixed uses of residences, offices and commerce, with a scope of approximately 100 housing units, as part of urban development in a developing area of the city.
The project provided design and engineering consulting services for a multi-purpose building, while complying with the operational and regulatory requirements of combining residential with commercial and office spaces. The work included designing water and sewage plumbing systems, designing air conditioning systems, designing fire sprinkler systems, and designing accessibility solutions in accordance with the required standards.
The design was carried out using an integrative approach, coordinating all systems and addressing interfaces between different uses of the building, including public, commercial and private areas. Emphasis was placed on the efficiency of the systems, user safety and optimal implementation capability in the field.
The project demonstrates engineering design capability in mixed-use buildings, while providing a precise response to the needs of developers and contractors and managing systemic complexity in an urban environment.
